Add a Recipe to The Cookie Library

Do you have a cookie recipe your family makes every year, a dependable bake-sale favorite, or a creative recipe you’ve developed in your own kitchen? I’d love to hear about it.

What to Include

Please provide as much of the following information as possible:

• Your name and email address.
• The name you would like displayed if the recipe is published.
• Recipe title.
• A short story or note about the recipe.
• Complete ingredient list with exact measurements.
• Clear, numbered instructions.
• Preparation, baking, cooling, and total time.
• Yield or number of servings.
• Oven temperature and recommended pan or baking sheet.
• Helpful notes, substitutions, storage instructions, or serving ideas.
• Original photos, if available.

Please mention whether measurements are given in U.S. customary units, metric units, or both.

Before You Submit

Only submit a recipe you have made and can describe from personal experience. The recipe, written instructions, story, and photographs must be your own or content you have permission to share.

Please do not submit:

• Text or photographs copied from another website, cookbook, social media account, or publication.
• Automatically generated recipes that have not been prepared and checked in a real kitchen.
• Images containing watermarks belonging to another person or business.
• Unverified medical, nutritional, allergy-safe, or dietary claims.
• Promotional content or undisclosed affiliate links.

If your recipe was adapted from another source, identify the original source and explain the changes you made.

What Happens Next?

Every submission may be reviewed for clarity, completeness, originality, and suitability for The Cookie Library. A recipe may be edited for grammar, formatting, measurements, organization, or readability.

Submitting a recipe does not guarantee that it will be tested, published, or accepted. Publication timing may vary, and some submissions may not receive an individual response.

If your recipe is selected, I may contact you with questions before publication.

Ownership and Permission

You retain ownership of the original content you submit.

By submitting a recipe, story, or photograph, you confirm that you have the right to share it and grant The Cookie Library non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to edit, reproduce, publish, display, and promote that content in connection with the website and its related social media or email channels.

Whenever practical, published community recipes will include the contributor name or display name provided with the submission.

No payment or other compensation is promised unless a separate written agreement is made in advance.

Your Privacy

Your email address will be used to review the submission, contact you about the recipe, and maintain necessary editorial records. It will not be displayed publicly without your permission.
